Located in the township of Montealegre del Castillo, and within the Denomination of Origin Jumilla, Las Zorreras is a unique environment for quality viticulture, its location, at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level and its chalky soil allow a great adaptation of the local variety Monastrell.
Rodriguez de Vera remains committed with singular altitude vineyards to produce singular wines with all the personality of this unique terroir, where a complete and slow maturation makes that our raw material for the production of Jumilla be first class.
Our wines from Jumilla, from the Paraje Las Zorreras, are made from the Monastrell variety, from old vines planted in 1950 ungrafted and in a without irrigation. The entire vineyard is conducted in bush and planted in limestone soils that provide its an elegance and a unique complexity to our wines.
In addition, all the grapes from Las Zorreras are 100% ecological, giving an undeniable added value.
